Growing signs of frustration

"Those IDF incursions into the cities of the West Bank, usually to make arrests, constitute yet another certain cause of acute Palestinian frustration with the status quo. A recent invasion of the al-Quds University campus to confiscate broadcasting equipment due to a squabble over frequencies is the most recent such flashpoint. Eventually, if and when Palestinian Authority security forces are sufficiently embarrassed and compromised by this behavior--at a time when no one can point to compensatory progress toward a two-state solution and the settlements are spreading--then the one element on the Palestinian side that is capable of preventing a new outbreak of popular violence will simply step aside."

Under the Rubble of Gaza, The Real Reason Israel Attacks

"Israel is like a hyperactive child who has to get its excessive energy out one way or the other. So, if Israel can’t bomb Iran – President Obama told his buddy Benjamin Netanyahu to wait it out just a bit more – then who better to beat on than the Palestinians? Anyway, the benefits are manifold. First, it curbs any “crazy talk” of reconciliation among the Palestinians; second, it stymies all the diplomatic efforts to restore the peace process and finally, it allows Israel to flex it military muscles against a people who it knows will not be able to fight back on equal grounds. And in the meanwhile, it tells the world and its people that it took out the “bad guys”, even 12-year old boys who, in their logic, will probably grow up to be “terrorists” anyway."

Global Peace and Conflict Management - Man in Search of New Thinking

"In its search for change and movement to progressive future-making, the global mankind is oppressed by systematic ignorance, intransigence and arrogance of the few affluent class of people managing the global institutions, militarization and governance - the perverted insanity lacking basic understanding of the Human Nature and of the working of the Universe in which we enjoy coherent co-exist. Animals do not commit massacre of their kind and species, nor set-up rape camps for the war victims, the Western led wars against the humanity have and continue to do so at a global scale without being challenged by any global organizations or leaders. Torture and massacres of innocent civilians are convenient fun games to be defined as “collateral damage” and a statistic. Perhaps, they view humanity just in digits and numbers, not as the living entities with social, moral, spiritual and intellectual values and progressive agendas for change and development. Every beginning has its end. It is just that most powerful nations have failed to learn from the living history- a slap to EH Carr’s precious thoughts of human history."

Reclaiming The Commons: Taking human lessons in the era of H.R. 347, corporatism and perpetual war

"Unless we start to see the world and our role in it with new eyes, we will be unable to alter the structure of the present system. Withal, it is imperative to be in full possession of one's humanity when facing the desperate, dehumanizing forces of an order that has grown ever more brutal in direct proportion to its rapidly declining purpose and legitimacy."

The Last Crusade or Ron Paul

"Citizens take note; this crusade is different. Does God know that his children are flaunting nuclear weapons around like toy swords and cap-pistols? It might well be that we will see the last crusade but we do have a choice for a short time, slim that it is. We are standing on the edge of a cliff like lemmings ready to take the suicidal plunge and one man stands ready to turn the tide in favor of humanity."

The Precarious Situation in Balochistan

"The problems of Balochistan need an immediate effective and sincere effort on the part of the government. The government has to establish there the rule of law, justice and reconciliation. Serious consideration is to be given to the situation which is going on the same semblance as it was in the East Pakistan before it was broken away from its main body. The issue should be taken up without delay on the political, economic and social level. The rights of the province in her natural resources must be recognized, respected and fully restored to the local people. A policy of clemency be adopted and the aggrieved elements must be brought to the negotiating tables to work out a feasible solution acceptable to the Baloch nation."

Israel will not attack

"It's 56 years since Israel went to war without giving notice to the Americans and getting their consent. When Israel did this in 1956, President Eisenhower took away all the achievements of victory, to the last millimeter. Before the Six Day War and on the eve of the First Lebanon War, the government of Israel sent special envoys to Washington to ensure unequivocal consent. If this time it did attack against the Americans' will, who would restock the IDF armories? Who would protect the cities of Israel, which would be exposed to many tens of thousands of missiles from Iran and its proxies? Not to mention the wave of anti-Semitism which can be expected to burst out once the American public finds out that it was Israel, and Israel alone, which brought upon them a national disaster."

Please Stop: Your 'Deep Concern' has Gotten us Nowhere

"While Europe is also in love with the term “concerned” when it comes to Israel and its measures against the Palestinians, its tone is not nearly as condescending as the Americans. Listening to Obama speaking before AIPAC, it was very hard not to turn the television (or computer) off."
